I’m a Digital Nomad

I don’t have a fixed office address, and my laptop has become one of the few things that travels with me wherever I go. I work remotely from a farm, a café, a hotel room, by the sea, and sometimes from places far away from everything and everyone.

To me, being a digital nomad is not simply about traveling while working. It is, above all, about having the freedom to choose where I live, where I work, and where I go next. As long as I have my laptop and an internet connection, almost anywhere can become my office.

But I don’t travel simply to change my surroundings. I love adventure, getting on my motorcycle, leaving the main roads behind and discovering places where I never imagined I could work. Sometimes I stay in one place for a few weeks, work during the day and explore the area as soon as I finish.

Other times, I simply hit the road without knowing exactly where I will sleep that night. That combination of work, freedom and adventure is what defines me the most. My laptop allows me to work almost anywhere, but it is the road that keeps me moving.

Ultimately, being a digital nomad is a different way of looking at time and space. I’m not necessarily trying to collect destinations, but to live experiences, discover new places and meet people along the way. Today I might be working from my farm, tomorrow from a small town by the ocean, and a few days later from a remote track in the desert.

I work so I can live, but above all, I work so I can leave. And as long as my office fits inside a backpack, I’ll keep following my own road, with a laptop in one hand and a motorcycle helmet in the other.
